Mofo RC | Piranha Caged Comp Chassis Kit (For Axial® SCX30™) - Made In Texas

With a 15 degree skid angle and a modular length adjustment, the Piranha is a fully caged comp chassis for your Axial® SCX30™. Intended to run without a body, you get that cool caged look that many of you look for in larger SCX24 kits.

The Piranha uses the next evolution in the Mofo Chassis System for the Axial® SCX30™ that we are calling the Mofo Chassis System (MCS) 2.0. After extensive testing, we improved upon the modularity of all our chassis kits by integrating the shock holes into the front and rear braces. By doing this, you can now just swap the chassis braces or rails vs only being able to swap the rails. Want to run a body in the future, buy the Cyber Snake Rails, (Available Soon). Competition rules require stock skid angle, buy the Pocket Snake rails (Available Soon). We think this will provide the most customization possible to fit every builder's needs. • Caged Chassis - Not compatible with stock bodies without trimming/clearancing
• 15* Skid Angle
• Captured and swappable upper link mount
  • Divorces the upper links from the skid plate providing additional anti-squat and clearance over the skid plate mounting.
  • Additional anti-squat will provide improved climbing on steep hills due to the less amount of squatting of the rear axle. When the rear axle squats, your front end will lift up, which this setup improves upon over stock.

  • Compatible with stock-sized lower links or Mofo RC +6mm lower link set.
  • Utilizes stock length upper links.
• Updated front shock holes provides more holes on the top row vs bottom row for improved adjustment.

• Titanium- 12g (6g heavier than stock)
• Brass- 17g (11g heavier than stock)
  • Brass now comes lightly machine polished

RTR Compatibility: Bronco, JLU, K10 all okay.  Tacoma rear links are longer than +6 so a chassis only is best. The front links are the same as the CJ7, but the stock rear links are shorter. A CJ7 chassis is shorter so if you wish to use a body, this will not be compatible as the chassis is longer.
