This is the pre-order for the Mofo Rc C1 Chassis, The most Comprehensive and Complete "Class 1" Micro Chassis ever made.  I should have pics and weights and more info very soon. 

Class 1 could be considered the most challenging class to compete in. With restrictions not seen in C2 or C3 it can be very difficult to build a very effective C1 Rig. So Mofo Rc has taken out 90% of the guesswork and planning required. The Only thing youll need to do is figure out where your going to post your podium finish pictures and where to hang your trophies.  :)  

C1 Chassis is available in 3 different materials currently.

6061 Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Titanium. All 3 versions are made in house at the Mofo Lab here in Texas. Aluminum is very light weight, Cost effective. Corrosion resistant and durable. Stainless steel is also corrosion resistant, Strong, fairly cost effective and beautiful but will be twice the weight or more than the Aluminum, Depending on the build that can be good or bad. Titanium is not quite as budget friendly but has a certain allure about it, It is extremely strong and durable, Corrosion resistance is very high, Titanium is light weight as well. While not as light as the aluminum it is close. But more than double the strength. C1 does not use an angled skid plate. The Skid is in line with the shock positions. 

Im not going to divulge a ton of details on this pre order post. If you know Mofo, You know it will be good. If you dont know. Then hold off and wait until the normal release when I will post more specs and pics and what not. 

Chassis kit will include several nylon polymer pieces also made here in the lab. To name a few, Chassis slider boards. Esc and electronic mounts, Battery tray. Multi mount body mounts with magnetic style mount accepting and upright posts mounting. Hardware and More. 

C1 Chassis Looks Beautiful and very tasteful, The Chassis can use nearly any scx24 skid plate on the market that would fit in a stock mounting chassis position, And we have an exclusive new skid plate / Trans case with dual mounting pattern coming soon that will be available for purchase separately. There are very well positioned shock mounting positions that are not over intrusive and look great. As well as useable upper link mounting positions that are very easy to install and will hold up very well. Chassis has both stock location bumper mounts so you can use any bumper mounting options that will fit a stock scx24 and aftermarket bumpers and mounts. Including stock bumper mounted body hinge mounts.

The battery tray is rear located and is located as low as possible before interference with Driveshafts or link mounts. Thus this is designed to run any forward mounted Motor. Either Brushless or Brushed. You will be best suited using one of our 9mm forward facing mounts and the NanoBeast with 11T mod.3 gearing, This preserves the use of another forward Mounted Electronics tray that is included as well. 

The options will be as follows. 

C1 Chassis in 3 Flavors - Aluminum, Stainless or Titanium. 

C1 XL Chassis Long Wheel Base Gladiator / Power wagon rear length - Aluminum, Stainless or Titanium.

Without Transmission Conversion and Skid

The new transmission dual mounting conversion and skid will run both the 9mm brushless mounting options and the 030/050 brushed or many other 10mm mounting pattern motors Facing Forward and very low. The conversion consist of a new laser sintered nylon polymer transmission case that uses the bearings and internals and spur gear from any standard Scx24 / Ax24 based transmission. And an in house laser cut aluminum Motor mount to support the motor in the low front position. With our nano motors or brushed motors they clear the front upper link mounts and servo perfectly. The Skid is also laser sintered nylon polymer in house made and is a slight drop skid, Not a flat skid. In our testing the drop skid paired with the included Low cog mount battery tray provided a much much lower COG without noticeably hindering clearance and producing hang ups. And provided better climbing angle and side hill angle before rollover.

The new Transmission conversion skid will be available for sale separately as well.
