The NanoBam XL is a slightly longer motor with a larger 12mm bolt pattern motor compared to our standard NanoBam line. It is intended for heavier vehicles such as the FMS series as a replacement for the 130 and 180 sized brushed motors.

The 1900KV motor is designed primarily for crawling, while the 3200KV offers significantly higher speed without sacrificing much crawling capability. Both motors are intended to fit directly onto the FMS series with no modifications needed. Since the vehicles have been updated slightly over time, some clearances have changed on some models and may require light sanding to ensure clearance. This may not be required on all models.   • Includes pre-installed Mod.4 16t pinion gear.

Notes

  • For the FMS, the motor is a direct bolt-in; however, when installing, do not fully tighten one screw initially. Instead, insert one screw loosely, then slightly adjust and rotate the motor until the second screw aligns and can be lightly threaded. After both screws are in place, you can fully secure them. If you experience excessive heat, reduced power, or cogging, it may be due to the motor casing rubbing against the transmission case. In this case, carefully sand the transmission housing to ensure the motor spins freely, as the fit is quite tight.
  • The Rockwolf esc we have includes a PH2.0 connector. You may need a different battery or an adapter to use our ESC.
