Chassis Kit Option

The Mofo RC Rock Rat 2.0 is where Rat Rod meets Mad Max offroad styling. Utilizing the optional dual transmission, get a faux V8 look with the motors acting as valve covers. It includes all the plastic parts necessary to convert a stock SCX24 standard length chassis into an awesome Rat Rod. Capable of running our optional dual motor transmission or any of our other motors such as our Pancake line of motors with a standard SCX24 transmission. The body is completely customizable and paintable to create your own look.

  • With Dual Motor Conversion (No Motors)
    • Compatible with any of our 50 sized brushed motors or 9mm Nano Motors.
    • Brushless nano motors will only work with a large (20t+ Mod.3) pinion due to clearance.
      • Use at your own risk as we have not thoroughly tested this yet...
  • With Dual Motor Conversion & Dual 50 Sized Brushed Motors
    • TorqueBeast 50 w/ Mod.3 14t Pinion Installed
      • Best for overall crawling ability, but sacrifices speed.
    • Buzzsaw X w/ Mod.3 14t Pinion Installed
      • Fastest option. Low speed crawling is not as smooth.

Notes

  • Shown with optional parts including, but not limited to RC4WD 1.0" KR3 Tires (Rear) and RC4WD 1.0" Dirt Grabber tires (Front). Mounted on XPW 1.0" Dishy Wheels.
  • You must use an aftermarket ESC with our Dual Motor option. The stock SCX24 esc is not capable of running dual motors successfully.
  • By nature of the production process, the body does have a slight texture to it, somewhat mimicking a light bed liner. It can easily be primed or sanded to a very fine finish if that is preferred before painting.

      • Y Splitter Available to run one a single brushed ESC
        • Included when purchasing version with motors.

    • Brushless: Any Mofo RC Nano or Pancake style motor
      • Many more motors will fit depending on build goals
